Your Job
Molex is hiring a high-energy, hands-on Test Engineer to join our R&D
Test Laboratory in
Bangalore to validate next-generation copper and fiber connectivity solutions
for global data
infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of product development,
signal integrity, electrical
and mechanical validation, and certification—directly affecting product
performance, reliability,
and time-to-market—while helping to modernize a high-performance R&D
lab and collaborating
with global teams.
Our Team
You will be part of the R&D Test Laboratory that supports global
connectivity product
development and qualification. The team works cross-functionally with
R&D, Mechanical Design,
Quality, and external certification labs in a fast-paced, innovation-focused
environment that
values hands-on problem solving and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
Lead electrical qualification and performance validation of high-performance
copper and fiber connectivity products to ensure readiness for customer and
industry requirements.
Execute and interpret RF and highspeed signal integrity measurements (e.g.,
VNA, BERT), translating results into clear engineering recommendations.
Validate products against TIA, ISO/IEC, and customer-specific requirements
and
support certification activities.
Analyze complex test data, drive structured root-cause investigations, and
partner with design teams to influence and prioritize design improvements.
Own operation, capability development, and upkeep of advanced lab equipment;
drive calibration, preventive maintenance, and equipment upgrades.
Improve test automation, lab processes, and documentation to increase
throughput, repeatability, and data quality.
Support mechanical validation activities and progressively take ownership of
mechanical test methods in collaboration with Mechanical Design.
Coordinate with global engineering teams and external labs to enable fast
prototyping and global qualification cycles.
