Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Heat Treatment (Production)

Key Responsibilities
1. Hands-on experience in handling Sealed Quench Furnaces, Gas Nitriding systems, Endo Gas Generators,
and LPG Yard operations.
2. Sound knowledge of carburizing, carbonitriding, gas nitriding processes, and SCADA systems.
3. Ensure strict adherence to approved heat treatment cycles, recipes, process parameters, and work
instructions.
4. Monitor and control critical process parameters including temperature, time, atmosphere composition,
pressure, and quenching conditions.
5. Monitor furnace system health, including thermocouples, gas flow systems, cooling systems, quenching
systems, and related equipment.
6. Maintain accurate process records, production logs, inspection records, and shift reports.
7. Coordinate with Quality and Metallurgy teams for hardness testing, metallurgical inspection, and process
approval.
8. Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and timely
resolution of equipment-related issues.
9. Guide, train, and supervise furnace operators and production associates to ensure safe and efficient
operations.
10. Identify process deviations and initiate appropriate corrective and preventive actions to ensure consistent
product quality.
11. Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, quality systems, process controls, and company
procedures.
