Role Objective
Owning & growing the P&L for B2B Solar Business. Mapping the opportunities space and converting them into business; creating viable business plans to service the opportunities. Lead the B2B Solar team in delivering business outcomes.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct market analysis to evaluate new categories (such as C&I Rooftop Solar EPC segment, Government E-Marketplace - GeM Portal and craft ‘Go to Market’ strategy).
- Assess competitive offerings and develop unique value propositions.
- Own & grow the P&L with end-to-end responsibility of sales, account management, working capital management, operations & supply chain/sourcing.
- Get relevant customers (such as Renewable EPC, Solar C&I etc.) on board, nurture them and convert them to consistent key accounts.
- Strategize entry across industrial segments and enabling technology led procurement.
- Plan, execute and monitor the sales operations with the objective of attaining accelerated growth in Share of business (SoB).
- Alongside Sourcing team, onboard relevant vendor partners (OEMs, dealers & distributors) across key product categories like Solar Panels, MMS Structures, Inverters, Transformers & Balance of Supplies (BoS), nurture them and convert them to key suppliers.

- Business Teams: Ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Internal: Finance, Technology & HR for managing various stakeholders, namely vendors, customers and team members.
- External: Customers for hunting & account development.
Qualification & Experience
Essential/ Desirable
- Essential: 8 + years of relevant experience in P&L management/ B2B/ Solar/ Industrial space.
- Essential: Exposure to consultative/ Project sales will be preferred.
- Essential: Excellent communication & people management skills. Should have led a sizeable team. High level of ownership, willingness to set up things from scratch.
Knowledge/ Skills
- Essential: Must enjoy sales hunting and driving aggressive sales targets, coaching and mentoring a sizable team.
Education
- Essential: B. Tech.
- Desirable: MBA from reputed institute.
