Tool Room Supervisor

 Key Responsibilities -
 Plan and manage manpower deployment in the Tool Room across two shifts.
 Receive, prioritize, plan, and execute job orders related to jigs, fixtures, dies, gauges,
machine spares, and tooling requirements.
 Monitor and ensure timely regrinding activities on a day-to-day basis.
 Provide technical support to the shop floor for troubleshooting and resolving issues
related to components manufactured by the Tool Room.
 Guide and supervise Tool Room associates in manufacturing process planning to
achieve the desired quality standards and productivity targets.
 Identify and raise requirements for tooling raw materials (steel, inserts, cutters,
etc.) and other accessories required for Tool Room operations.
 Prepare CNC programs for VMC and CNC Turning Centres using SolidCAM software.
 Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and maintenance standards within the Tool
Room.
 Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of
tooling and spare part requirements.
 Maintain records related to job orders, tooling inventory, and machine utilization.

Technical Skills -
 Sound knowledge of machining processes and manufacturing techniques.
 Proficiency in tooling, jigs, fixtures, dies, gauges, and machine spares manufacturing.
 Hands-on experience in CAD software and SolidCAM.
 CNC programming knowledge for VMC and CNC Turning Centres.
 Familiarity with engineering drawings, GD&T, and process planning.
 Proficiency in e-communication and MS Office applications.
