ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly hands-on Sr./Principal Product Manager – Software & Device Experience to own the complete software experience around the Wippi device.

This is a high-ownership 0→1 product role where you will work at the intersection of AI, software, hardware and consumer experience.

You will own product experiences across AI/LLM, backend services, APIs, frontend/mobile experiences, device and firmware-facing requirements, orchestration, experimentation and analytics.

You will work closely with engineering, design and other cross-functional teams to take products from concept and prototyping through launch, iteration and scale.

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong engineering/development foundation and has transitioned into product management, with hands-on experience building consumer-facing technology products and AI-powered experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PRODUCT OWNERSHIP

Own the product vision, roadmap and execution for the software experience surrounding the Wippi device.
Drive products from 0→1, from problem discovery and validation through development, launch and iteration.
Translate consumer needs and business objectives into clear product requirements, PRDs and user experiences.
Prioritize features and initiatives based on user impact, business value, technical feasibility and product strategy.
Work closely with the founders and engineering/design teams in a fast-paced, lean environment.

AI & LLM PRODUCTS

Define and build AI-powered consumer experiences using LLMs, conversational AI and agentic systems.
Work with engineering teams on AI architecture, model selection, prompts, evaluation and experimentation.
Identify opportunities to use AI to make the Wippi experience more personalized, engaging and intelligent.
Prototype and validate AI concepts quickly before moving them into production.

SOFTWARE & DEVICE EXPERIENCE

Own the end-to-end software experience connecting the Wippi physical device with AI, backend and consumer applications.
Define requirements for device-to-cloud and device-to-app interactions.
Work with engineering teams on APIs, backend services, frontend/mobile applications and device/firmware-facing requirements.
Ensure seamless orchestration between hardware, software, AI and user experience.
Partner with engineering to identify technical constraints and translate them into product decisions.

CONSUMER PRODUCT & GROWTH

Build intuitive and delightful experiences for consumers and families.
Conduct user research and use qualitative and quantitative data to identify product opportunities.
Define and track product metrics including activation, engagement, retention and feature adoption.
Run experiments and A/B tests to continuously improve the product experi
