Job Description for QA/QC Engineer

Quality Engineer Role and Responsibilities

Oversee the quality standards of the Krofta's engineering and manufacturing processes. Develop, implement, audit and update quality standards and quality control systems. Investigate production and product issues and consider corrective measures to make improvements.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

Develop, implement, audit and update quality standards and quality control systems (as per ISO 9001:2015)
Investigate production and product issues and consider corrective measures to make improvements
Perform regular quality check tests for the early identification of any potential issues
Prepare detailed reports of malfunctioning equipment and defective product raw materials
Write detailed reports on the corrective actions to take to fix technical issues and production cycle issues
Ensure compliance with quality specifications by the inspection and testing of materials, equipment, processes and products at different stages
Collaborate with suppliers, managers and other personnel to meet organizational quality standards
Coordinate with the organization’s internal teams to improve product quality and meet customer requirements
Work in coordination with external technicians and quality assurance auditors
Review customer feedback and implement changes to improve products to increase customer satisfaction and build brand loyalty
Stay updated about safety and legal standards and regulations for manufacturing processes and manufactured products
Monitor and analyze production efforts to optimize them and reduce operational expenses
Resolution of critical and chronic quality issues.
To improve PQCDSM (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Morale) by replacement/addition of equipment with appropriate technology.
TQM - Ensure adherence and improvement in Quality systems - PPAP, Process Mapping and Process flow, control Plan, SOP, etc.
Experienced in Welding Process with Welding Certification.
Able to guide during Internal & External Inspection.
Experienced in Client & Third party Inspection.

Key Competencies

Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role in manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies for relevant industry.
In-depth understanding of technical documentation.
Familiarity with statistical analysis.
Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Team spirit.
Good analytical skills.
Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus.
Knowledge of government & local regulations for production units.

Relevant Experience: 4-6 years
Education: BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant field or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering
