🏢 Job Description: Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Infrastructure, Construction & Manufacturing

Location: Corporate HQ (with periodic travel to project sites)
Experience: 15–25 years in Infrastructure, EPC, Construction, and Manufacturing operations
Reporting To: Managing Director / Board of Directors
Department: Executive Leadership

🧭 Role Overview:

The COO will lead the operational backbone of the organization, overseeing infrastructure project delivery, manufacturing coordination, and cross-functional execution across multiple NHAI and government contracts. This role demands strategic foresight, operational rigor, and deep domain expertise in construction and manufacturing environments.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

🏗 Infrastructure & Project Operations:

Oversee execution of multiple NHAI and infrastructure projects across India, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.
Monitor project milestones including PCOD , COD , and final handover, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal standards.
Drive implementation of project completion checklists , risk mitigation plans, and escalation protocols.

🏭 Manufacturing & Supply Chain:

Coordinate with in-house or third-party manufacturing units for timely supply of mechanical components, structural materials, and equipment.
Optimize procurement, inventory, and logistics to support site operations and reduce downtime.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and quality control systems to ensure material reliability and cost efficiency.

📊 Operational Excellence:

Develop and enforce SOPs across departments—project management, procurement, HR, finance, and site operations.
Lead digitization and automation initiatives for project tracking, reporting, and compliance.
Ensure safety, sustainability, and regulatory adherence across all operational activities.

🤝 Client & Stakeholder Management:

Serve as the primary operational liaison with clients, government bodies, and JV partners.
Lead tender strategy, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations for new projects.
Maintain high client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.

🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Mechanical/Civil Engineering; MBA or PMP preferred.
Proven leadership in infrastructure, construction, and manufacturing operations.
Strong understanding of NHAI project frameworks, EPC contracts, and government tendering.
Expertise in operational strategy, supply chain optimization, and cross-functional team management.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites; accommodation and logistics support provided.
