Engineer - SQA

Key Responsibilities
 Should have strong knowledge of Hot Forging and Heat Treatment processes.
 Should have good knowledge of APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and QC Story
methodology.
 Conduct part inspection at supplier locations using relevant inspection and
measuring equipment.
 Should have working knowledge of Contour, Profile Projector, and other relevant
inspection instruments.
 Conduct sample inspection at supplier end to ensure compliance with specified
quality requirements.
 Conduct and coordinate Level-5 PPAP activities with suppliers.
 Support the Purchase Team in the closure of TFC (Technical
Feasibility/Technical Feedback & Clarification) related points.
 Conduct new supplier assessment as per defined quality requirements.
 Conduct regular supplier audits and follow up on identified observations.
 Identify, analyze, and support the resolution of chronic/repetitive quality issues
at supplier end.
 Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for timely implementation of
corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
 Monitor supplier quality performance and ensure adherence to defined quality
standards.
 Maintain proper records and documentation related to supplier quality activities.

Technical Skills
 Strong knowledge of Hot Forging and Heat Treatment processes.
 Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and QC Story.
