Job Description – IT Support Engineer

Location: Patparganj, Delhi (Work from home 10 PM-5AM) 

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled IT professional with 5+ years of experience in hardware support, system maintenance, and enterprise IT infrastructure management. The candidate should have strong knowledge of desktop/laptop troubleshooting, operating system installation, enterprise-grade systems, and end-user technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Perform hardware troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance for IT equipment.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems and related software applications.
• Manage and support enterprise/high-end systems and workstations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Provide technical support to end users for system, application, and connectivity problems.
• Configure and maintain system backups, antivirus, and security updates.
• Handle system upgrades, patch management, and performance optimization.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, AMC, and warranty support.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation of systems and configurations.
• Ensure smooth functioning of IT infrastructure and minimize downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in IT hardware and desktop support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with enterprise/high-end systems, servers, and workstations.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, networking basics, and system security.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, remote support tools, and system backup processes is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
