Sales & Installation Coordinator (Field Operations)

Role Overview:  The Sales & Installation Coordinator acts as the critical link between the technical sales team, the production unit, and the physical site execution. This role requires a professional who is equally comfortable in a corporate boardroom and on an active construction site, ensuring that high-performance glazing systems are sold with accuracy and installed to perfection. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Site Intelligence & Technical Coordination 

·  Conduct initial site surveys to verify floor levels, opening sizes, and structural readiness before fabrication. 

·  Coordinate with site engineers and architects to ensure the proposed fenestration systems (Curtain walls, Sliding & Casement systems) align with structural requirements. 

·  Troubleshoot on-site installation hurdles, providing immediate technical solutions to the labor force or sub-contractors. 

2. Sales Support & Client Liaison 

·  Assist the sales team in preparing technical BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on actual site conditions. 

·  Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the transition from "Order Booked" to "Installation Commenced." 

3. Execution & Quality Control 

·  Supervise the installation of premium systems (including minimalist profiles) to ensure they meet the company’s internal QC standards. 

·  Manage the "Snag List" process, ensuring all post-installation issues are resolved before the final handover. 

·  Monitor daily progress reports from the field and align them with project timelines. 

4. Logistics & Resource Management 

·  Coordinate the timely delivery of glass and aluminum profiles to the site to prevent installation delays. 

·  Manage on-site inventory to minimize wastage and ensure the safety of high-value materials. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

·  Industry Expertise:  Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience in the Fenestration/Façade industry . Deep understanding of aluminum sections, glass specifications, and hardware. 

·  Technical Proficiency:  Ability to read and interpret architectural CAD drawings, structural layouts, and wind load charts. 

·  Communication:  Strong negotiation and coordination skills; ability to communicate effectively with both laborers on-site and senior project managers. 

·  Adaptability:  Willingness to travel extensively and spend significant time in the field. 

·  Problem-Solving:  A "solution-first" mindset when dealing with site deviations or installation errors.
