Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET)

Key Responsibilities
 Conduct inspection of incoming materials and support supplier audit activities.
 Develop working knowledge of gear manufacturing processes.
 Operate and use inspection and measuring instruments such as:
o Vernier Caliper
o Height Gauge
o Micrometer
o Contracer
o Profile Projector
o Surface Roughness Tester
o Other relevant measuring instruments
 Inspect components as per applicable quality standards and read and interpret
engineering drawings.
 Identify and highlight major quality issues to the concerned supplier, department,
and management for timely corrective action.
 Develop knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements and their application in supplier
quality.
 Perform hardness testing and operate hardness testing equipment independently.
 Maintain proper and accurate quality records and inspection documentation.
 Ensure timely clearance and processing of SRV (Store Receipt Voucher).
 Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for resolution of quality-related
issues.
 Ensure compliance with defined quality procedures and standards.
 Basic understanding of IATF 16949 standard.
