Manager / Sr Manager - Finance & Accounting

Key Responsibilities

 

Lead R2R Operations: Oversee end-to-end R2R processes including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, and financial reporting.

Insurance Accounting Expertise: Ensure accurate accounting for insurance products, premium recognition, claims provisioning, and regulatory compliance.

Financial Controls & Compliance: Maintain robust internal controls, ensure adherence to US-GAAP and regulatory guidelines.

Process Optimization: Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, and operations teams for accurate financial data and reporting.

Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Audit & Governance: Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely completion of audits and compliance reviews.

 

Education: CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 12 years in Finance & Accounting with at least 8 years in insurance industry and 5+ years in R2R leadership roles.

Strong knowledge of insurance accounting standards, regulatory frameworks, and financial reporting.

Expertise in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
