Forging (Paint Shop) - Operating Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
1. Should have complete knowledge of profile component forging.
2. Must be able to polish dies/toolings of running parts mounted on the press.
3. Should be comfortable working in rotational shifts.
4. Must be capable of maintaining the Die History Card by calculating and recording
data in the prescribed format.
5. Should be able to perform reworking and de-flashing of profile components.
6. Must possess sound knowledge of forging processes and operations.
7. Should have good understanding of forging dies and related tooling.
8. Basic knowledge of Turning/Lathe Machines, Shot Blasting Machines, Bandsaw
Cutting Machines, etc. is required.
9. Must have sound knowledge of forging shop tooling such as mounting points, inserts
for lathe/turning machines, grinding wheels, etc.
10. Should have strong knowledge of Electric Screw Press, Trimming Press, and
Induction Billet Heater temperature settings and operations.
11. Must have hands-on experience operating a 1600 Ton Electric Screw Press and
forging components weighing approximately 8 kg to 16 kg.
12. Should have knowledge of manual die setup in forging presses, where die weights
range approximately from 200–300 kg.
