PURPOSE OF ROLE
As a Global Logistics improvement Junior Manager in the Global Primary
Logistics and Distribution team, you will drive various functional and
cross-functional projects and initiatives, mainly focusing on Global Supply
Chain improvements. You will be responsible for developing project scopes and
objectives and a detailed project plan to track progress and coordinate the
work of all parties involved. You will need to cooperate closely with
International IT, the Global Supply Chain team, and all Business
representatives to ensure the solution will be developed and business
readiness is complete on time and within agreed quality standards. You will,
at the same time, need to make sure to maintain good relations with Project
Sponsor and steering group as well as internal customers or suppliers. You
will also establish Global Primary Logistics and Distribution Processes
standards and guidelines. You will lead various projects, and when the project
is done, you will make sure to share best practices with all stakeholders,
markets/regions, Global operations departments/factories.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management.

Define scope, determine the resources required to complete the project.
Create a detailed objectives, work plan and later develop a schedule for
project completion. Review the project schedule with senior management and
all other staff affected by the plan activities. Determine the objectives
and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.

Ensure the feasibility of the assigned project by obtaining authorization to
start the project. Carefully examine the idea of a project to determine
whether it benefits the organization. Make sure the business case is valid
throughout the project.

Identify and evaluate potential risks. Develop appropriate strategies to
either avoid the dangers or minimize their impact on the entire project.

Complete the work defined in the project management plan to satisfy the
project scope, and ensure execution on time, within specifications.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless
execution of projects within budget.

Develop an efficient internal communication plan and preferred communication
modes to ensure communication with the project team, stakeholders, vendors,
and organizational awareness. Execute it through presentations, meetings,
emails, reports, etc. Need to ensure that communications are sent, received,
and understood. Report and escalate to management as needed.

Track and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and
techniques. Identify any areas in which changes to the plan are required and
initiate the corresponding changes. Constantly monitor and report on the
progress of the project to all stakeholders. Finalize all activities across
the project to formally close the project and collect lessons learned that
may be used in future initiatives.

Assist business functions in mapping their processes using Business Process
Modelling Notation by providing expertise and as-is and to-be analysis. Use
a proper tool to draw a circle, obtain approval, archive, and transfer to
business.

Provide training on Oriflame Project Management Framework structure and
knowledge. Act as a point of contact for colleagues within the Global Supply
Chain regarding project management processes.

As a Global Logistics improvement Junior Manager, you will be playing an
essential role in the supply chain department as you will be involved in
cross-functional projects working closely with different teams (depending on a
project). You will need to be able to use verification techniques to manage
changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. You will also be expected to
measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and plans,
communicate with all stakeholders, keep the project team focused and develop
relationships that are conducive to the successful completion of the projects.
You will need to report/escalate issues to management if required. You will be
expected to manage risk to minimize project risks and create and maintain
comprehensive project documentation. The Project Manager also supports and
trains other peers and colleagues in Project Management and the Oriflame
Project Framework to ensure well-managed projects. Effective Project Manager
requires not only area-specific skills and general management proficiencies
but also specific competencies, advanced interpersonal skills, and a proactive
approach to ensure success. It would be best if you were organized,
passionate, and goal-oriented and understood what projects have in common and
their strategic role in how organizations succeed, learn and change. You will
need to translate the organization's vision into a project vision. You must
work well under pressure and be comfortable with change and complexity in
dynamic environments. You can shift readily between the "big picture" and the
small-but-crucial details, knowing when to concentrate on each and be able to
multitask.

Drive continuous improvement of Global Transport Sourcing activities and
Transport processes. Drive all assigned and prioritized projects to
completion.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Project Management experience - implementation projects (SAP, JDA or similar)
- 3+ years of experience within Supply Chain with a special focus on Planning
- Experience in managing international project teams (including remotely
located) - University degree (Supply Chain or Management degree is an asset) -
Fluent in English, verbal and written form - Project Management trainings and
certifications desirable (PMP, AgilePM etc.) - Skilled in using project
management applications (ex: Microsoft Project, etc.) - Supply Chain related
corporate information systems experience (ERP, DRP etc.) - Good communication
and teamwork skills, ability to prioritize tasks.
