Role: Regulatory Officer – BIIB Business (Individual Contributor Role)

Reports to: Business Unit Director – Bakery Ingredients

Location: Gurugram – Corporate Office (Worldmark, sector - 65)

Position Objective and Overview of Role:

This position is responsible for handling all Regulatory affairs related to BIIB. Strategy Engaging with the agencies for discussion and negotiations on any regulatory issues and to expedite approvals. Regulatory Compliance Advice management for current guidance, regulations, and standards

Main responsibilities

• Understanding and implementation of the FSSAI Act, Rules & Regulations for all Plants (Import & Export regulatory knowledge)
• Filing dossier for Product Approval, Licensing etc. in FOSCOS
• Liaising with Regulatory bodies such as FSSAI, Legal Metrology Etc.
• Product & Labelling compliance for the product as per applicable statutory & regulatory norms in the country of intended sale.
• Approving all Packaging artworks
• Close monitoring of new regulations and amendments & Update team
• Ensuring all labels, packaging as per Indian Regulatory Compliances act.
• Obtain all Regulatory documents & compliance information from Raw Material Suppliers
• Entertain all customer queries regulatory related
• Regulatory support in providing response to legal notices.
• Review of RM/PM based on regulatory compliance as dosage as per FSSAI
• Handling all import related queries
• Experience in preparing change notifications and convincing partners/agencies in line with global expectations
