Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist
Job Summary:
The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist plays a crucial role in
optimizing the financial performance of our organization by ensuring efficient
revenue cycle processes. This position involves reviewing RCM practices,
maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), and coordinating audits to
enhance compliance and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive reviews of revenue cycle management processes to
identify and implement improvements.

Develop, update, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to
RCM functions.

Lead and facilitate audits of RCM practices, preparing detailed
documentation and reports for stakeholders.

Consolidate monthly management information system (MIS) reports to provide
insights into revenue performance and areas for growth.

Coordinate and manage both statutory and internal audits, ensuring timely
compliance with regulations.

Perform detailed reviews of financial books to ensure accuracy and alignment
with RCM objectives.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a
related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue cycle management or a similar
financial role.

Strong knowledge of auditing principles and practices as they apply to RCM.

Proficient in financial analysis and report generation, with excellent
analytical skills.

Experience with MIS reporting tools and financial software.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate
effectively with various departments.
Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification in healthcare finance, such as Certified Revenue
Cycle Specialist (CRCS) or Certified Healthcare Financial Professional
(CHFP).

Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools for reporting and
analysis.
