Software Tester
Job Summary:
The Software Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and
functionality of our software products. By meticulously executing tests and

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement detailed test plans and test cases for software
applications.

Execute manual and automated testing procedures to identify defects and
validate functionality.

Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and ensure timely
resolution.

Document test results, report defects, and track them through to resolution.

Participate in sprint planning and provide input on quality assurance
strategies.

Review and analyze system specifications to ensure comprehensive testing
coverage.

Continuously improve testing practices and recommend enhancements to testing
tools and processes.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
field.

1-3 years of experience in software testing, including familiarity with
various testing methodologies.

Proficiency in test management tools, such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar
platforms.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and document
defects.

Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile
methodologies.

Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with
team members effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, QTP, or LoadRunner.
