About the role

About Young Founders School

Young Founders School (YFS) is building the future of founder education — equipping the next generation of builders, operators, and entrepreneurs with the skills, networks, and mindsets to launch ambitious ventures.

We're a small, high-agency team working at the intersection of AI, education, and entrepreneurship. AI sits at the core of how we build — from product and operations to content and community. We move fast, ship often, and treat ownership as the default.

The Role

Build the marketing function. Own how the world sees YFS.

We're hiring a Marketing Head — AI & Growth to lead YFS's brand, growth, and community end-to-end. You'll partner directly with the founders to shape how the world discovers, talks about, and joins YFS — and build the team and systems that scale that engine.

This is a foundational, high-ownership seat. You won't inherit a playbook; you'll write one. You'll lead with both strategy and craft, treat AI as a daily co-pilot rather than a buzzword, and ship at the pace of an early-stage operator.

What You'll Do

Build and lead the marketing function — strategy, team, systems, and execution
Own end-to-end growth across content, performance, organic, partnerships, and community
Shape YFS's brand voice and storytelling across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and beyond
Drive qualified pipeline for YFS programs and global initiatives
Use AI as a force multiplier — automate, accelerate, and 10x team output
Hire, mentor, and grow a high-agency marketing team as YFS scales
Partner with founders on positioning, narrative, and category strategy

Who You Are

Experience

5+ years across marketing, growth, or community — ideally at early-stage or high-growth orgs
Track record of building or meaningfully scaling a marketing function from the ground up
Hands-on across both strategy and execution — equally comfortable in a deck and in the doc

What We Look For

Deep AI fluency — non-negotiable. You live in tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and modern AI stacks daily, and have sharp instincts for where AI multiplies output
Owner mentality — you ship outcomes, not outputs, and don't wait for permission to move
Strong instincts for narrative, brand, and audience — you know what makes content travel
Full-funnel chops — comfortable across brand, performance, content, partnerships, and community
High taste, high agency, low ego — you raise the bar without dimming anyone else's
Comfort with ambiguity — early-stage marketing doesn't ship with playbooks

Why This Seat

A foundational leadership role — you're building the function, not maintaining one
Direct partnership with the founding team on the highest-leverage decisions at YFS
A real chance to define a category in AI-powered founder education
Work alongside a small, high-agency team that ships fast and learns faster
AI-native operating culture — you'll be empowered, not slowed down, by tooling
