Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the financial integrity of our organization by managing customer invoicing and collections with precision and attention to detail. This position is essential to maintain our cash flow and strengthen customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and issue customer invoices accurately and on time to ensure prompt payment.
• Perform bank mapping and customer ledger mapping to maintain financial accuracy.
• Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records to support financial reporting.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and regularly update payment status.
• Coordinate with customers regarding payment follow-ups and resolve any queries.
• Assist with reconciliation and resolution of ledger discrepancies as they arise.
• Ensure proper documentation of sales and collection transactions to uphold compliance standards.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
• Good understanding of sales transactions and sale-of-goods processes.
• Strong communication and customer coordination skills to facilitate smooth interactions.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced reporting tools and analytics in accounting software.
• Familiarity with compliance regulations related to financial transactions.
• Proven track record of improving processes within Accounts Receivable.
• Relevant certification in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CIMA) is a plus.
