Role Overview
This role is for engineers with
2–3 years of experience
who can already build software systems and now want to apply that to
real-world AI systems
.
You’ll work on building and shipping
production AI workflows
, while owning parts of systems and collaborating closely with senior
engineers.
This is a
hands-on builder role
focused on execution, learning, and gradually taking ownership of modules
within larger systems.
What You’ll Do
-
Build and improve
AI agents and automation workflows
-
Implement
RAG pipelines
(data ingestion, retrieval, basic ranking)
-
Work on
prompting, tool usage, and structured outputs
-
Integrate AI systems into
CRMs, internal tools, and external APIs
-
Debug and improve
output quality, latency, and reliability
-
Take ownership of
specific features or modules
within larger systems
-
Support deployment and maintenance of
production AI systems

APIs and integrations
-
RAG fundamentals (chunking, retrieval, basic pipelines)
-
Ability to
build and ship features independently

Understanding of
backend fundamentals
(APIs, async workflows, data handling)

chatbots, RAG apps, or automation tools
-
Exposure to
vector databases

-
Familiarity with
workflow automation tools
(n8n, Zapier, etc.)
-
Basic understanding of
evaluation or improving LLM outputs
-
You think in terms of
building and shipping
, not just experimenting
