Director - Internal Audit / Risk Advisory
Job Summary:
The Director of Internal Audit / Risk Advisory will play a pivotal role in
leading our audit vertical, steering a dynamic team towards excellence. This
position is responsible for developing risk-based audit strategies, executing
audit assignments, and enhancing client relationships while actively driving
process improvements within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Internal Audit / Risk Advisory team, ensuring alignment
with organizational objectives.

Develop and implement risk-based audit strategies to enhance internal
controls and compliance.

Oversee planning and execution of multiple internal audit assignments while
managing timelines and resources effectively.

Strengthen relationships with clients by providing expert guidance on
operational audits and compliance issues.

Evaluate audit reports, identify control gaps, and drive the timely
resolution of audit observations.

Foster stakeholder management through frequent interaction with senior
management and client leadership.

Champion process and control improvements, focusing on revenue leakage
prevention and cost optimization.
Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 15-20 years of experience in
Internal Audit / Risk Advisory.

Demonstrated experience in leading large internal audit teams of 70+
members.

In-depth expertise in risk-based internal audits, internal controls, risk
management, and compliance.

Proven ability to plan, execute, and manage multiple internal audit
assignments independently.

Strong understanding of operational audit processes, financial analysis, and
process improvements.

Proficient in the use of MS Excel, ERP systems, and various audit tools.

High level of integrity with excellent communication, analytical, and
decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in fraud investigations and risk mitigation strategies.
- Exposure to the implementation of Internal Financial Controls (IFC).

Familiarity with AI-driven audit tools will be considered an advantage.

Background in a CA firm with Internal Audit / Risk Advisory functions or
Corporate Internal Audit.

mentoring junior staff.
