Power BI Lead

Job Summary:
The Power BI Lead will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making within EXL, leveraging advanced analytics and robust data visualization techniques. This position not only focuses on delivering impactful dashboards but also involves leading a talented team and collaborating with stakeholders to shape our data strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
•        Lead the development and implementation of Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
•        Design and optimize data models and semantic models to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
•        Utilize DAX and Power Query (M) to create efficient, scalable, and user-friendly analytics solutions.
•        Manage and mentor a team of 3-5 data professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
•        Engage with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
•        Leverage Power BI Copilot and AI features to enhance data storytelling and analytical capabilities.
•        Integrate data sources from SQL Server, SharePoint, Excel, APIs, and Azure/Fabric to build comprehensive reporting solutions.
Requirements:
•        8-12 years of experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on Power BI and its ecosystem.
•        Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling techniques.
•        Hands-on experience with SQL Server, APIs, and cloud technologies such as Azure/Fabric.
•        Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
•        Demonstrated experience in leading teams, with an emphasis on collaboration and mentorship.
•        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
•        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
