Senior Product Engineer - AI/ML Platforms

Job Summary:

The Senior Product Engineer is a pivotal role at EduBridge Group responsible for the end-to-end ownership of our intern-built product portfolio. This role will transform fragile prototypes into robust, production-grade systems, and integrate AI/ML solutions to enhance learning and delivery across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Take complete ownership of intern-developed products including code, architecture, infrastructure, and documentation from Day 1.
Establish source control, CI/CD processes, testing standards, and deployment protocols to ensure reliability.
Develop thorough architecture documentation, runbooks, and observability practices.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to shape and manage a comprehensive 12-month product roadmap.
Implement full-stack engineering practices, focusing on Python (Django/FastAPI) for backend and React for dynamic front-end development.
Design, train, and deploy AI/ML models to facilitate learner personalization and enhance content recommendation.
Provide cross-functional leadership and mentoring to interns and junior developers, ensuring strong team growth and performance excellence.

Requirements:

5-8 years of full-stack engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in deploying AI/ML systems in a production environment.
Proficient in Python (Django or FastAPI) and have strong frontend skills, preferably in React.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and production database management.
Demonstrated experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) in production environments.
Proven track record of stabilizing and taking over poorly-documented or legacy codebases within the initial 90 days.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce architecture documents, decision logs, and technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in EdTech, HRTech, or workforce development fields.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), SCORM/xAPI standards, and assessment engines.
Knowledge of MLOps tools such as MLflow, SageMaker, or Vertex AI.
Experience with vector databases like pgvector, Pinecone, or Weaviate.
Background in Indian language NLP or regional speech processing technologies.
