Revenue Accounting Manager
Job Summary:
As a pivotal member of our finance team, the Revenue Accounting Manager will
leverage extensive experience in accounting and revenue recognition within the
software industry to ensure compliance with standards and elevate our revenue
processes. This dynamic role involves direct collaboration with
cross-functional teams and offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing
team while driving operational excellence throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze customer contracts to identify key terms and ensure
revenue is recorded in line with company policies and accounting literature
under ASC 606.

Manage, coach, and scale a high-performing team of revenue analysts,
establishing clear KPIs and fostering a culture of execution.

Collaborate with Order Management, Sales, Legal, and Credit & Collections to
gather necessary details for informed accounting decisions.

Ensure revenue transactions comply with business practices, including
non-standard contract terms and pricing/material rights.

Author high-quality technical accounting memos justifying revenue treatment
under US GAAP for complex transactions.

Own and execute periodic Stand-alone Selling Price (SSP) studies,
establishing standard pricing bands and compliance guardrails.

Deliver training to cross-functional teams to enhance the understanding of
revenue recognition across the company.
Requirements:

CA qualification and a bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance,
or a related field.

Minimum of 15 years in a corporate finance environment, with at least 10-12
years in revenue accounting for software/cloud-based offerings.

Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, and Purchase Price Accounting.
- Experience in SAP/HANA 4 and Oracle/NetSuite is a plus.

Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver
high-quality work in fast-paced environments.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- 8+ years of work experience specifically with ASC 606.
