About the role

Executive Summary
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Copilot Studio Lead (6 to 8 years overall experience) to drive the design, development, deployment, and governance of enterprise-grade AI agents and conversational copilots. In this role, you will lead
solution architecture and technical implementation using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI Services, and Generative AI technologies to automate complex business processes and deliver transformative employee and customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Architecture
• Lead technical discovery workshops with enterprise business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Copilot Studio architecture and agent specifications.
• Architect multi-agent interactions, custom topics, actions, triggers, and conversational flows using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure OpenAI.
• Define integration patterns, security standards, and governance frameworks for enterprise-wide deployment of AI agents.
• Establish reusable design patterns, prompt engineering standards, and components to accelerate AI solution delivery.

2. Development & Technical Leadership
• Lead hands-on development of AI agents, virtual assistants, and conversational flows using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Build complex custom actions, skills, plugins, and custom connectors using Power Automate, Azure Functions, REST APIs, and Dataverse.
• Integrate agents with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, Graph API, Outlook) and third-party systems (ServiceNow, Salesforce, custom APIs).
• Provide technical mentorship, code reviews, and technical guidance to developers and citizen developers.

3. AI, Agentic Workflows & Generative AI Optimization
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and configureenterprise grounding sources (SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Azure AI Search).
• Design agent orchestration, fallback management, context tracking, andadvanced prompt engineering to ensure high accuracy and quality.

• Monitor agent analytics, response quality, and user interaction feedback, iteratively refining topics and performance.

4. Governance, Security & Compliance
• Establish and enforce AI governance, compliance, responsible AI principles, andDLP policies across all low-code and agentic environments.
• Manage environment strategies, lifecycle management (ALM), and deployment pipelines for Copilot Studio assets.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
Professional Experience
• 6 to 8 years of core software development, automation, and enterprise application delivery experience.
• At least 2–3 years of direct, hands-on experience building, configuring, and deploying conversational AI and agent solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents).

Technical Competencies
• Copilot Studio & Generative AI: Deep expertise in topics, entities, generative answers, custom actions, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and RAG architectures.
• Power Platform: Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate (cloud flows, HTTP requests, custom connectors), Power Apps, and Dataverse.
• Microsoft 365 & Azure Services: Practical experience with Microsoft Graph API, Entra ID / Azure AD, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, and Azure Functions.
• Integrations: Expertise in consuming and creating RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, C#/Python/JavaScript or PowerShell scripting.
• DevOps & Lifecycle Management: Hands-on experience with solution packaging, environment management, ALM, and deployment strategies. Soft Skills & Leadership
