Tour Guide
Job Summary:
The Tour Guide will lead engaging and informative tours for both group and
private events, providing participants with an immersive experience that
highlights the history and culture of the area. This role is integral to
creating memorable adventures, ensuring guests leave with a deeper
appreciation for their surroundings.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct guided tours, sharing compelling narratives and insights about
historical landmarks, cultural sites, and local attractions.

Engage with tour participants, fostering an interactive environment through
questions, discussions, and storytelling.

Maintain a thorough knowledge of the tour routes, ensuring accurate
information is conveyed at each stop.

Coordinate logistics for tours, including scheduling, transportation, and
necessary permits or permissions.

Assess and respond to the needs of different groups, adapting tour content
and pace to suit both large groups and individual guests.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the duration
of the tour.

Collect feedback from tour participants to continuously improve the tour
experience and enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a tour guide or in a similar customer-facing role.

Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse
audience.
- Deep knowledge of local history, culture, and attractions.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tours and
event schedules.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
by tour schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in History, Tourism, or a related field.
