Frieght Broker

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Freight Broker to manage end-to-end freight brokerage operations, build strong carrier and shipper relationships, and drive profitable business growth. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the freight/logistics industry and excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate with shippers and carriers to secure competitive freight rates.
• Manage the complete freight booking and movement process from pickup to delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, shippers, and customers .
• Negotiate rates, margins, and contracts while maximizing profitability.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, service issues, and exceptions.
• Maintain accurate records of loads, rates, carrier information, and transactions.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Freight Brokerage / Logistics / Transportation.
• Strong understanding of US freight, trucking, and transportation operations .
• Proven experience in carrier sourcing, load booking, rate negotiation, and customer management .
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment .
• Experience with TMS, load boards, and freight management systems is preferred.
