Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX Developer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Oracle APEX (Application Express) Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Oracle Application Express. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in PL/SQL, database technologies, solution architecture, and enterprise IT practices, ensuring the delivery of secure, high-performing, and business-aligned solutions.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain custom applications using Oracle APEX.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex PL/SQL and SQL queries.
• Build dynamic and interactive web applications using APEX components such as forms, reports, dashboards, and charts.
• Perform performance tuning and application optimization for Oracle APEX and database environments.
• Ensure application security by implementing Oracle APEX security best practices and governance standards.
• Optimize database performance and maintain data integrity within Oracle Database 19c environments.
• Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities using Agile methodologies where applicable.
• Support database administration activities where required.
• Contribute to solution design, architecture planning, and enterprise-level implementation initiatives.
• Assist in IT infrastructure planning, system integration, and environment management.
• Contribute to the development and execution of IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Support IT roadmap planning, including procurement strategies, budget adherence, infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and asset management.
• Participate in program management and services delivery initiatives to ensure timely and quality execution of projects.
• Assist in vendor evaluation, selection, and coordination for technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, governance policies, and operational procedures.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and ongoing application support to ensure reliability and performance.
• Stay current with evolving Oracle APEX features, tools, and best practices.

Qualification & Experience:

1. B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent degree.
2. 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development.
3. Strong proficiency in Oracle APEX (version 19.x and above).
4. Advanced expertise in PL/SQL and SQL, including complex query optimization.
5. Strong understanding of Oracle Database architecture and relational database design principles.
6. Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.
7. Knowledge of Linux shell scripting.
8. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
