Mobile Security Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Security Specialist to join our dynamic team in London, Bristol, or Edinburgh. This role is crucial for ensuring the security of our mobile applications, leveraging your expertise to assess and enhance our security protocols, ultimately enabling a safer user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular reviews of mobile application security posture to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
Develop and maintain penetration testing security tools, scripts, policies, and procedures tailored to mobile platforms.
Perform threat modeling to assess potential risks and recommend actionable security improvements.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices throughout the mobile app lifecycle.
Provide expert guidance and training on mobile security standards for Android and iOS platforms.
Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile security threats and advancements to proactively enhance security measures.

Requirements:

Proven experience in mobile platform security, including threat modeling and mitigation techniques.
Hands-on experience in conducting security assessments and reviews for mobile applications.
Strong knowledge of mobile application security standards for both Android and iOS.
Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies for mobile environments.
Ability to effectively communicate complex security issues and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications in cybersecurity or mobile security are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with secure coding practices and application development lifecycle.
Hands-on expertise with specific security tools such as OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar.
Knowledge of compliance requirements related to mobile applications, such as GDPR and PCI DSS.
Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and enterprise mobility solutions.
