We are looking for a Commercial Finance professional who will act as a bridge between finance and business teams. The role focuses on MIS reporting, revenue analysis, and driving business performance through financial insights in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Finance & Business Partnering:

• Partner with sales, merchandising, and category teams to drive revenue and profitability

• Analyze product/category/store-level performance and provide actionable insights

• Monitor discounting, pricing strategies, and margin optimization

• Support decision-making with financial models and scenario analysis

MIS & Reporting:

• Prepare and publish daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports

• Track key metrics: GMV, revenue, gross margin, sell-through, inventory turns

• Build and maintain automated dashboards (Excel/BI tools)

• Provide variance analysis vs budget and prior periods

Planning & Forecasting:

• Assist in annual budgeting and rolling forecasts

• Work with business teams on demand planning and inventory planning

• Track actuals vs plan and highlight risks/opportunities

---

Accounting & Controls:

• Ensure alignment with financial reporting and accounting standards

• Support month-end closure, revenue reconciliation, and audit requirements

• Maintain strong financial controls across commercial processes

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of commercial finance & MIS reporting

• Advanced Excel (mandatory) + exposure to Power BI/Tableau

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally)

• Strong analytical mindset with business acumen

• Ability to work with large datasets and translate into insights

Preferred Background:

• Experience in retail, fashion, e-commerce, or consumer businesses

• Prior exposure to category finance / business finance roles
