Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with over 10 years of experience in the banking domain to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will involve analyzing business needs, optimizing processes, and enhancing operational efficiencies to drive strategic initiatives that align with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive business requirement analysis to identify stakeholder needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Document and maintain business process flows, use cases, and functional specifications to guide development teams.
Utilize data analysis tools to extract insights from banking data and support decision-making processes.
Evaluate existing processes and systems, providing recommendations for enhancements and solutions to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to support system implementation and user acceptance testing.
Monitor project progress and performance, delivering status updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services sector.
Strong understanding of banking processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, as well as SQL for data querying.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
Experience with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile transformation within an organization.
Familiarity with financial modeling and risk analysis in a banking context.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams through complex banking projects.
