About the role
Primary fit: Strong software engineering DNA & SOLID data engineering experience. They will be expected to:
- Design ingestion patterns (JDBC/ODBC, files, etc.) and repeatable frameworks/templates
- Build/standardize Python + PySpark code templates (parameterization, metadata/tagging hooks, quality checks)
- Work closely with client architect; participate in design discussions, sprint demos, and technical decisions
- Mentor mid-level engineers; enforce coding standards and repo hygiene
Must-haves: Python engineering (production-grade), PySpark, Git/PR discipline, Databricks jobs/notebooks + orchestration exposure, data pipeline design experience, strong communication (US-facing).
