Python Backend Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our innovative team. This role focuses on developing robust backend applications using FastAPI, while also collaborating with DevOps practices to streamline our development processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using FastAPI.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and ensure smooth integration with DevOps practices.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
Monitor and optimize application performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, staging, and production environments.
Document technical specifications and collaborate on architectural decisions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of professional experience in backend development using Python.
Strong proficiency with FastAPI framework and RESTful API design.
Experience in cloud services, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
Understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) is a plus.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in working in an Agile team.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
