Tourism Finance Corporation of India Ltd. (TFCIL), established in 1989, is a
specialized financial institution that provides financial assistance to
projects in the tourism and hospitality sectors across India. TFCIL has
diversified into select segments such as Real Estate, Infrastructure, Solar
Energy, and Alternate Investment structures. It is listed on both the Bombay
Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
TFCIL has played a pivotal role in promoting tourism and allied infrastructure
in India, supporting landmark projects such as Taj Resorts in Kerala & Goa,
Umaid Bhawan Palace Heritage Hotel, Palace on Wheels, Esselworld Amusement
Park, Imagicaa Entertainment, Hyatt Ahmedabad, Le Meridien Coimbatore,
Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport, JW Marriott Aerocity, and others. The
company has also collaborated with various State Tourism Departments and the
Ministry of Tourism on multiple advisory assignments.

Department: Credit / Project Finance

Age Limit: Maximum 45 years
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA (Finance) / CA from a premier institute.

Minimum 8+ years of experience in credit appraisal, project finance, and
term lending in a leading NBFC or Bank.

Strong exposure to financial analysis, project evaluation, credit
assessment, and wholesale lending in sectors such as hospitality, real
estate, and infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Credit Appraisal:
-
Conduct comprehensive appraisal of term-loan proposals by evaluating
project feasibility, business models, technical and market assessments,
and financial viability.

Financial & Risk Analysis:
-
Analyse financial statements, assess creditworthiness, evaluate key
financial metrics (cash flows, DSCR, IRR, sensitivity), and identify
potential risks with appropriate mitigation measures.

Business Development & Loan Origination (Wholesale Lending):
-
Source and originate new business opportunities in the wholesale lending
segment, develop relationships with potential clients, and conduct
preliminary screening of proposals aligned with TFCIL’s credit policies
and sectoral mandates.

Client Coordination & Due Diligence:

Coordinate with borrowers, consultants, and internal teams to obtain
necessary data, clarifications, and reports for detailed technical,
market, financial, and legal due diligence.

Credit Note Preparation:

Prepare detailed credit appraisal notes, including financial
projections, risk analysis, and recommendations for submission to the
Credit Committee.

Deal Structuring & Documentation:

Assist in structuring of transactions, finalization of terms, and review
of documentation in consultation with legal and compliance teams to
ensure policy adherence.

Portfolio Monitoring:

Track progress of sanctioned projects, monitor repayment performance,
review periodic financials, and identify early warning signals to
maintain asset quality.
