Assistant Manager - Dairy Technology

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager - Dairy Technology will play a crucial role in the development and formulation of high-protein milk ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages. This position is pivotal in driving innovation through UHT processing, homogenization, and advanced dairy protein formulation, contributing significantly to the growth and quality of our product line.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and development for high-protein milk RTD beverages, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Execute and oversee the UHT processing and homogenization of dairy products to maintain quality and shelf-life.
Formulate and optimize dairy protein blends for improved nutritional profile and flavor profile of beverages.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and production to align product development with market needs.
Implement quality control measures and investigate any product deviations to maintain high standards.
Lead training sessions for production staff to enhance understanding of dairy technology processes and innovation.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in dairy technology to continuously improve product offerings.

Requirements:

Master's degree (MTech or MSc) or PhD in Dairy Technology.
Proven experience in dairy product formulation, specifically in high-protein beverage development.
Strong knowledge of UHT processing, homogenization, and product stability.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive approach to collaboration.
Experience in quality assurance within the dairy industry.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards in food processing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in leading product development projects from concept to launch in a commercial setting.
Published research or contributions to industry literature in dairy technology or related fields.
Knowledge of sensory evaluation techniques for dairy products.
Experience with consumer testing and market analysis to inform product development.
