QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

Join our dynamic technology solutions firm in the Enterprise Software & Digital Transformation sector as a QA Automation Engineer. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of robust test automation frameworks that ensure zero-defect delivery for our global clients, significantly impacting the quality and reliability of our mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation frameworks using industry best practices.
• Architect end-to-end test strategies aligned with Agile/Scrum delivery cycles, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for API, UI, and integration layers.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI) to enable continuous feedback and rapid regression cycles.
• Mentor and upskill QA engineers on advanced automation tools, scripting, and test data management techniques.
• Collaborate with Development, Product, and Operations teams to embed quality gates, enforce test-driven development (TDD), and enhance defect escape rates.
• Monitor test execution KPIs (pass/fail rate, flakiness, coverage) and implement improvements to reduce technical debt and increase ROI.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Java for developing automation scripts.
• Experience with REST Assured and JUnit for API testing.
• Hands-on knowledge of Jenkins and Cucumber for CI/CD integration.
• Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Playwright and Appium for enhancing automation capabilities.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI for continuous integration workflows.
• Knowledge of additional scripting languages or automation tools will be considered an asset.
