RTL Design Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced RTL Design Lead to lead a team in the development of high-performance digital designs. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our projects by leveraging expertise in functional ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) and proficiency in AMD design flows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the RTL design team in defining and implementing complex digital designs that meet specifications and performance goals.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements and adherence to project timelines.
• Utilize knowledge of functional ECOs to manage design changes effectively and ensure alignment with requirements.
• Review and optimize RTL code for performance, area, and power using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices for RTL design and debugging techniques.
• Conduct design reviews and present findings to stakeholders, ensuring high-quality deliverables and innovation within the team.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in AMD design flows and incorporate relevant techniques into ongoing projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in RTL design with a strong understanding of digital design principles.
• Proven experience in managing functional ECOs and effectively applying changes within RTL designs.
• In-depth knowledge of AMD design flows and tools is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a technical team.
• Familiarity with ASIC design flow and methodologies.
• Contributions to open-source projects or industry-standard design libraries will be valued.
