Robotics Educator
Job Summary:
Join oll.co as a Robotics Educator to inspire and nurture the next generation of innovators. In this role, you will facilitate engaging and hands-on robotics programs that empower students to explore STEM concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and foster a love for technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement interactive robotics curricula aligned with educational standards and learner outcomes.
- Lead hands-on workshops and classes, encouraging students to engage in critical thinking and creativity.
- Support students in developing their projects, providing guidance in programming, engineering, and design processes.
- Assess and track student progress, offering constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate robotics and STEM projects into the broader educational framework.
- Organize and facilitate robotics competitions and events to showcase student projects and achievements.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in robotics and STEM education to continuously improve program offerings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in teaching or facilitating STEM subjects, particularly robotics.
- Strong understanding of robotics platforms, programming languages, and engineering principles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in lesson planning and execution.
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Education or a related discipline.
- Experience with robotics competitions or leading technology clubs.
- Familiarity with various programming languages and robotics kits such as LEGO Mindstorms or VEX Robotics.
