Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Civil
Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager in Civil Engineering plays a crucial
role in delivering quality engineering solutions in pre-bid and project
phases. With a focus on innovative designs and stakeholder collaboration, this
position significantly contributes to the successful execution of solar
projects, ensuring compliance and excellence in civil systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct pre-bid engineering work, including feasibility studies and
preliminary design work to support project proposals.

Prepare and finalize Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for civil systems during both
the pre-bid and project phases.

Develop in-house drawing details and technical specifications for civil
systems to ensure quality outcomes.

Perform design calculations and review drawings and specifications for
accuracy and completeness.

Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including
project managers, contractors, and vendors, to meet project requirements
efficiently.

Conduct site visits to identify design issues, working with project teams to
develop viable solutions.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards throughout
the project lifecycle.

Manage the review process for all civil design packages, ensuring all
documentation meets quality standards.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to contribute to
engineering innovations.

Maintain comprehensive project engineering records to document progress and
outcomes.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential.

A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in solar project design and engineering
with a focus on civil and mechanical aspects.

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices,
including knowledge of relevant IS codes and industry standards.

Proficiency in design software such as STAAD, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MS
Office.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively
in a cross-functional environment.

Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with various
stakeholders.

Demonstrated professionalism and a high level of integrity in all
interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in managing multi-disciplinary design teams would be a
