Walnut Medical is seeking an Assistant Manager- HR to support and manage core human resource functions in a fast-paced electronic component manufacturing environment. The role involves handling recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.

Job Location- Mohali (Punjab)

Qualifications & Experience : Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field with 3–6 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.

The company has developed an advanced automotive smart instrument cluster targeted at automobile OEMs. As part of its strategic growth, Walnut Medical is transitioning into a multi-vertical technology product company, with a strong focus on scaling its automotive electronics vertical.

Role & responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end recruitment and on-boarding processes

· Support workforce planning for manufacturing operations

· Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions

· Maintain HR records, attendance, and payroll coordination

· Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies

· Assist in performance management and employee development initiatives

· Drive employee engagement and retention activities

Preferred Qualifications:

· Knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in HRMS and MS Office

Skills Required:

· Experience in electronic/manufacturing industry

· Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities

· Ability to work in a dynamic, shop-floor-driven environment
