Electronics Manufacturing Engineer
Job Summary:
The Electronics Manufacturing Engineer will play a critical role in Pixxel’s
Production group, focusing on the end-to-end manufacturing processes of
electronic subsystems such as PCBs, batteries, and solar panels. This position
directly impacts the organization by ensuring high-quality production and
aligning engineering objectives with operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the end-to-end manufacturing of electronic subsystems,
ensuring alignment with design and manufacturing requirements.

Own and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM), maintaining structure
definition, version control, and updates in accordance with manufacturing
needs.

Oversee production planning and execution to ensure materials availability,
capacity planning, and adherence to build schedules across multiple
programs.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure and qualify electronic
components and assemblies for manufacturing.

Track and drive production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as yield,
throughput, cycle time, and defect rates; implement efficiency improvements
based on these metrics.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the
manufacturing process, conducting regular inspections and process checks.

Collaborate closely with design, AIT, quality, and supply chain teams to
resolve manufacturing issues and support product realization.
Requirements:

B.E./B.Tech/M.S/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering,
Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, production
engineering, or AIT in aerospace, automotive, electronics, or defense
sectors.

Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, including PCB
assembly, battery systems, and solar panel fabrication.

Proficiency in Bill of Materials (BOM) management, production planning, and
manufacturing execution systems.

Familiarity with quality standards, inspection techniques, and reliability
testing specific to electronic systems.

Strong analytical skills for monitoring production KPIs and implementing
data-driven improvements.

Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills for effective
collaboration across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with RCA methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone, and FMEA.

Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical
documentation effectively.
