Job Summary:

As the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading our engineering department and shaping the technology direction of our organization. You will oversee a dynamic team of over 60 professionals, including 5 Engineering Managers, driving innovation and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement strategic engineering initiatives, aligning with organizational goals and driving technological advancements.
• Coordinate and oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining a high standard of engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and requirements, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools into the engineering processes to enhance performance and productivity.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development within the team.
• Promote best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership role, managing teams in a software development environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Java and familiarity with modern software development practices.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve ambitious goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record in project management and delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to analyze and solve technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and leading teams through Agile transformations.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Previous experience in scaling engineering teams and processes in a rapidly growing organization.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
