Section Head – Finance & Accounts
Job Summary:
The Section Head of Finance & Accounts plays a pivotal role in shaping the
financial strategies of our organization, driving operational excellence and
governance standards. This position is essential for ensuring compliance,
effective management of financial resources, and providing critical insights
to support decision-making at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement finance strategies that align with organizational
objectives to drive growth and efficiency.

Oversee the maintenance of books of accounts, ensuring compliance with
accounting standards and company policies while managing monthly, quarterly,
and annual financial closing activities.

Review financial statements, schedules, reconciliations, and management
reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.

Lead internal, statutory, tax, secretarial, and cost audit engagements,
ensuring adherence to all statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance
requirements.

Foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning within the
Finance & Accounts team, conducting performance reviews and competency
assessments.

Leverage ERP systems and digital tools to drive automation of accounting and
compliance processes, enhancing productivity across the department.

Support risk identification, assessment, and mitigation processes within
financial operations to enhance the organization’s overall governance
framework.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's
degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance and accounts, with at least 3
years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and
compliance requirements.

Proven ability to develop financial strategies that support business
objectives and drive financial performance.

Exceptional analytical skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and
variance analysis.

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of
developing high-performing teams.

Proficient in using ERP systems and financial management software;
familiarity with advanced analytics tools is a plus.
