[Responsibilities]

Cable design unit, PCB design, FPGA design, PLC design

Addressing problems/defects during the development and mass production of
high-frequency (RF) systems.

Design, layout, assembly, and modification of unit wiring; handling of
measuring instruments.

Support for the design and development of transportation system materials,
wire harness design-related work, and other project-related support.

Supporting new product documentation creation by generating OMS for
NPI/CIP builds.
-
Under general and minimal supervision, design or modify electrical
engineering assemblies, layouts/sketches, and detail
drawings/specifications to an appropriate extent.
-
Investigate and implement changes to engineering documentation while
adhering to standard procedures / provide escalation support for various
tools (troubleshoot errors occurring in electrical modules/tools and
provide prompt solutions to those errors).

BoM and Technical Change Management
-
Design and modify electrical equipment for the manufacturing and assembly
of electrical components, and develop manufacturing processes while
incorporating feedback from operators.

We design electrical test methods and test the performance of finished
products/systems to ensure product quality.

We investigate customer requirements, conduct research and testing on
manufacturing and assembly methods and materials, and develop electrical
products.

We collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to create
product reports.

We answer questions and requests and provide engineering information.
-
Maintain product and company reputations in accordance with federal and
state regulations.

Create a computer program for maintaining the product database and input
data.

Team Size
This position involves working at a client’s office. There are
approximately two other team members working there.
Work Experience
Must Have
-
6-7 years of experience in electrical engineering design concepts and
applications, and experience in operating components, circuits, electrical
systems, and machinery (devices and instruments).

Knowledge of electrical systems and components, control systems, relays,
and power supplies.
-
Experience in cable design (component selection, cable diagram creation,
configuration creation) and single-line diagram creation.
-
Circuit design (PCB, power supply systems, etc.)
-
Experience in PLC program evaluation, download/upload processes, and
real-time ladder logic monitoring. Proficiency in various user interfaces.
-
Experience with AutoCAD (wiring design)/3D CAD, Siemens S7 1200 PLC,
OrCAD, Microsoft Visio, Creo, and Zuken products.
-
OEM selection / BOM management, documentation, release process,
reliability testing knowledge / Leveraging expertise in all aspects of
engineering technical change management.

Experience with measuring instruments such as ammeters, voltmeters, ohms,
and oscilloscopes, as well as electrical evaluation experience.
-
Experience with CE, SEMI S2, S8, S22/NFPA 79, UL508A, and other standards.

Basic knowledge of radio frequency (RF) technology

PC skills (Excel: functions / PowerPoint: word processing, email software,
etc.)
