Software Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with 2-5 years of experience to join our innovative team at HireBound. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and implementing software solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and user experience, contributing directly to our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using technologies X and Y.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Perform debugging and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to teammates and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to innovate solutions and enhance our product offerings.
Document development processes, code changes, and other technical information for future reference and onboarding.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in programming languages, specifically X and Y.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
Keen interest in test-driven development (TDD) and unit testing practices.
Knowledge of database management systems like SQL or NoSQL.
Experience contributing to open-source projects or personal software development projects.
